The newly renovated ancient masseria seamlessly incorporated traditional elements with contemporary design, providing an ambiance of sophistication and comfort. The preserved high ceilings, original stones, and frescoes, coupled with modern furnishings, created a unique and visually appealing space. The attention to detail in restoring the ancient chapel was particularly remarkable, adding to the property's charm. The Italian breakfast served in the main hall was a delightful start to the day. The proximity to Lecce allowed for easy exploration of the city's culinary offerings, making it a strategic location for food enthusiasts.While the hotel boasts a range of amenities such as a stunning garden with a swimming pool, bar/lounge area, and a fitness club, I found the absence of certain services like a paid airport shuttle or in-room breakfast to be somewhat limiting.In conclusion, Masseria Francescani offers a tasteful and comfortable retreat for travelers seeking a touch of history and modern indulgence.
